1320903145871Samsung Galaxy FIT S5670 can now be updated with the latest Value Pack which is dubbed as Gingerbread 2.3.6 which is DDKT3. This firmware is officially pushed to Samsung Galaxy FIT devices all across the globe which fixes all the issues related to over-heating of the device and also comes with bug fixes in UI. 






Note: Applying this DDKT3 Value Pack Update won’t root the device in any manner and also the warranty will stay intact. Just in case if your phone is on the custom ROM firmware, after applying with this update the warranty can be reclaimed.

Essential Pre Requisites:
  • Though this firmware DDKT3 is the official firmware update released by Samsung, it’s highly recommended that you install the firmware after clean wiping the device. Backup all the data with the help of below mentioned steps and not with the ROM Manager or KIES.
SMS – Use “SMS Backup & Restore app”,
Contacts – Sync with the Gmail application,
Call Log - Call Log and Restore
Images, Songs, Videos, Files – Copy to internal / External SD Card,
APN and MMS Settings – Note down from the path “Applications > Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Access Point Names
  • Assuming that you have created a backup of all the data with the help of below mentioned steps, you need to turn Off your phone so that it can be entered in the Recovery Mode. The Samsung Galaxy FIT S5670 can be entered into the recovery mode by Pressing and hold Middle button & the power button.
  • In recovery mode, select “clear cache” and “wipe data / factory reset” which will erase all the data in your device to process for the clean installation. After wiping the data, select “reboot system now” for rebooting the device.
  • Now from the path “Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging” enable the SUB Debugging Mode. Also, make sure that the minimum charge left in your phone is 40% or else there is a risk of device getting turned off in the middle of firmware update.
