Add this to your list of shopping companions: Eyeona, an app for Android smartphones, lets you scan your receipts and sends you an email if the price drops on anything you’ve purchased.
The app only works with supporting retailers, a sizable list that includes heavyweights like Amazon.com, Best Buy, Bloomingdale’s, Costco, Ikea and Macy’s.
In addition to obtaining price adjustments, you can also create a wish list of things you’d like to buy, and opt to be notified via e-mail if one of those items drops below your target price (as an example, I set a target price of $30 for a skirt I found at Anthropologie). You can add an item to your list by scanning its barcode, or searching the inventories of supporting retailers.

Quick Pitch: An app that helps you track the price of items you’ve bought or want to buy.
Genius Idea: Notifies you if an item you’ve purchased goes on sale, so you can get a price adjustment.
