iPhone Fold specs just tipped — display sizes, cameras, Touch ID and more
Apple’s long-rumored iPhone Fold is back in the spotlight as new leaks reveal exciting details about its display, cameras, and authentication features. According to the latest reports, Apple is preparing a book-style foldable iPhone designed to compete directly with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and other premium foldables.
The leaked specs suggest the iPhone Fold will feature a large inner folding display of around 7.7–7.9 inches, offering a near tablet-like experience for multitasking, gaming, and content consumption. On the outside, a compact cover display of about 5.5 inches is expected, perfect for quick tasks and one-handed use.
In terms of cameras, Apple may go with a dual rear camera setup, optimized for both folded and unfolded usage. The front camera could be hidden under the display on the inner screen, while the outer screen may retain a punch-hole camera for FaceTime and selfies.
Interestingly, leaks hint that Apple could bring back Touch ID, possibly integrated into the side power button. This move may help Apple save internal space while improving reliability on a foldable design—especially if Face ID becomes harder to implement with flexible displays.
While Apple hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, insiders claim the iPhone Fold will focus heavily on premium build quality, crease minimization, and long-term durability, areas where Apple is known to take its time before launching new form factors.
If these leaks are accurate, the iPhone Fold could mark Apple’s biggest iPhone design shift in years.
