Panasonic launched a new
smartphone called “Eluga Icon”. The company has as been teasing the device from last few
weeks by highlighting its camera and battery. Finally, the specs are released,
and the devices offer better productivity in terms of camera.
The
device carries a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and an 8MP front camera along
with the Blink Play feature. It sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display and
comes powered by 64-bit true octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. There is
2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and a microSD card slot (up to 32GB
support).
It has a 3,500mAh battery that lasts up to 900 hours on standby
and gives 19 hours of talk time. The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. The
Eluga Icon comes with dual SIM dual standby support. It offers connectivity
features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS and Bluetooth. The device measures 152.3
x 76.4 x 7.95 mm and weighs 147 grams.
