    Hardware and Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the second flagship device to be launched by Samsung this year, after the Galaxy S4. The Note 3 is similarly loaded with high-end hardware, and features a 1.9GHz Exynos 5420 Octa CPU. The device also boasts 3 GB RAM, which is the largest that is included in a mobile device to date. In addition to the high-end hardware, the Note 3 also comes with a bevy of software features that utilise the sensors that are included on the device. Another feature that is unique to the Note series is the stylus, which has been redesigned for the Galaxy Note 3.

    Screen and Design
The Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 5.7-inch AMOLED screen with a full-HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The pixel density on the device is at 386 PPI, which makes the Note 3 the ideal device for watching content on the go. The thin bezels mean that this device should fit into your hand considerably well. In terms of design, the Galaxy Note 3 is styled similar to other high-end devices in the Galaxy line, and uses a lot of plastic. Samsung is yet to move to materials like aluminium, but has included a faux leather back on the Note 3 that allows users to hold the device better. The textured back also gives the mobile a sense of style that was sorely missing in other Note devices.

    Camera and Multimedia
The Note 3 features a 13 MP camera that comes with autofocus and LED Flash. While the camera can take great images in bright conditions, it does not fare as well in low-light scenarios. The Note 3 does not feature OIS, but Samsung has included a software utility that assists users in correcting flaws in images and videos. The device can take full-HD videos at 60 frames per second, and contains a bevy of shooting modes that include Drama Shot, HDR, Action Shot and Dual Shot. Samsung has thrown in additions like the ability to take images from both front and back cameras simultaneously, as well as the ability to remove elements from images dynamically.

    Software and Features
The Galaxy Note 3 is a major launch considering the amount of Note 2 units Samsung managed to sell, and as such Samsung has lavished the device with a host of exclusive software features. Most of these utilities have been designed to take full advantage of the stylus the device comes with. For instance, as soon as you remove the stylus from its dock, you would see an Action Menu that gives you a list of shortcuts to utilities. One such utility is Annotate, which allows you to take screenshots and write on them. Another is Note, which allows you to quickly write notes from a wide variety of locations. Another great feature is the Multi Window mode, which lets you use the screen real estate by running two different utilities it the same time on the screen. The Galaxy Note 3 comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and is loaded with Samsung's TouchWiz custom skin.

    Connectivity and Battery
These days, battery life is one of the most crucial factors when it comes to selecting a mobile device, and Samsung has not reneged in this area. The Galaxy Note comes with a 3,200 mAh battery that is claimed to last the device an entire day's worth of heavy usage. In terms of connectivity, the Note 3 that is being sold in India comes without 4G connectivity, but does feature 3G. Also included is Wi-Fi ac connectivity, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0, micro-USB 2.0, DLNA, NFC and an IR Blaster through which you can use your Note 3 as a TV remote.
